Nurturing Faith, Building Fellowship: The SMIOC Sunday School of the Orthodox Syrian Sunday School Association of the East is the spiritual heart of our children’s ministry. Led by our Vicar, Rev. Fr. Gigi Mathew Vagathanam (VP of OSSAE Asia Pacific Sunday School organisation), we provide a child safe and supportive environment where children grow in the grace of Jesus Christ and His Church.

Beyond regular classroom instruction every Sunday after Holy Qurbana, we host several key programs to mould our students in the likeness of God:

• Bible Quiz Competition: Deepening the understanding and love for Holy Scripture.

• Charity Food Sale: Student-led initiatives that instil the Christian value of helping those in need.

• Talent Day: Competitions designed to discover and nurture young spiritual and creative talents.

• Junior Choir: Sunday school students lead the choir during worship on first Sunday of every month.

• Orthodox Vacation Bible School (OVBS): A vibrant three-day holiday program featuring lessons, songs, games, and excursions.
